Terms of Service

For Charcuterie & Grazing Table Invoices

1. Payment Terms
Full payment is required 7 days prior to all event booking and upon receipt of this invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. Orders are confirmed only after payment is received. Late payments may result in order cancellation or delay in fulfillment.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
Board orders canceled 7 days or more before the scheduled pickup or delivery date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days the scheduled pickup or delivery date are non-refundable due to ingredient preparation and scheduling commitments. 

Event and Cart reservations. All booked events required 50% down payment is non refundable, Due to scheduling commitments,

3. Delivery & Pickup
Delivery is available for an additional fee of $1.5 per mile. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery details and ensure someone is available to receive the order. Pickup orders must be collected at the agreed-upon time. Unclaimed orders will not be refunded.

4. Food Handling & Allergies
Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including dairy, nuts, gluten, and fruit. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. The Client assumes responsibility for informing guests of any potential allergens.

5. Liability
Once an order has been delivered or picked up, The Chic Charcuterie LLC is no longer responsible for product quality, freshness, or food safety. Perishable items should be refrigerated promptly and consumed within timeframes recommended by the FDA (24 hours).

6. Custom Orders & Substitutions
Ingredient availability may vary. We reserve the right to make equivalent substitutions if an item is unavailable while maintaining the integrity, quality, and aesthetic of the board or table.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Chic Charcuterie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to food-related illnesses, allergic reactions, or event disruptions. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order. The Client hereby releases, waives, and discharges the Caterer, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses of any nature whatsoever arising out of or related to the storage, handling, serving, or consumption of food provided by the Caterer (“Food Service Activities”), including claims of injury, illness, or death.

8. Acknowledgment of Risk: 

The Client acknowledges that the delivery, storage, preparation, handling, and serving of food carries inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of fires, burns, cuts, foodborne illness, allergic reactions, and contamination. After delivery, the Client agrees that they are solely responsible for ensuring all food is stored and served safely and in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.

9. Indemnification: 

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Caterer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses of any nature whatsoever (including attorney's fees) arising out of the storage, handling, serving, or consumption of food after delivery by the Caterer, including claims brought by third parties.

10. Force Majeure: 

If Caterer will be unable to deliver by reason of a “force majeure”, the Caterer may terminate this Agreement by written notice up to five (5) days following such force majeure, and Caterer will not be responsible for any damages sustained by User as the result of such termination, and Client will be entitled to a full refund of any sum paid or any other acceptable arrangement mutually agreed to by the parties.  “Force majeure” shall mean fire, earthquake, flood, inclement weather, pandemic, power outage, act of God, strikes, work stoppages, or other labor disturbances, riots or civil commotions, litigation, act of terrorism, war or other act of any foreign nation, power of government, or governmental agency or authority, or any other cause which is beyond the control of the Caterer.

11. Agreement
By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
